ABMRF/The Foundation for Alcohol Research
Celebrates 30 Years!
Thirty years ago, ABMRF/The Foundation for Alcohol Research began funding research grants and communicating results to help build a base of knowledge regarding how alcohol affects health, its use in society, and the benefits and detriments related to alcohol consumption. Our mission serves everyone and our distinguished impact speaks for itself.
We support alcohol studies conducted by promising, new investigators at academic and scientific institutions in Canada and the United States; conduct grant funding reviews by distinguished Advisory Council members; promote scientific exchange of ideas by convening and supporting conferences, symposia and workshops; and disseminate new knowledge through communication activities.
ABMRF/The Foundation for Alcohol Research is an investment into the future of understanding alcohol use, helping to improve the quality of people’s lives at home and in the workplace.
