Grantee Publications & Presentations in 2008

ABMRF/The Foundation for Alcohol Research grantees are assembling an impressive collection of publications that detail research advances made possible by Foundation grants.  To date close to 2,000 papers have been published since our first research grants were awarded in 1982.  Behind each of the following publications and presentations is a compelling story of long hours and dedication as our grantees contribute important pieces to the growing collection of knowledge that enables a better understanding of the effects of alcohol on health and behavior.

The report details every grant funded since the Foundation's founding in 1982 as well as the many publications in scientific journals that resulted from these grants. The Research Reference Guide also documents the scientific meetings and conferences either supported or convened by the Foundation.

Ultimately, this volume serves to acknowledge the important work that has come about through programs and partnerships forged by the unique partnership between ABMRF/The Foundation for Alcohol Research and the generosity of our donors throughout  the United States and Canada.
