Donate to ABMRF/The Foundation for Alcohol Research

Alcohol research traditionally has been under-funded compared to other illness categories despite the potential to benefit a comparable number of lives.

Thanks to contributor support, ABMRF/The Foundation for Alcohol Research has found success as it seeks to encourage a better understanding of the effects of alcohol on health and behavior through research opportunity and communication. Currently, however, our available resources enable funding fewer than half of the most promising research projects judged to have the highest scientific merit. The amount of money available for research and conferences is not enough to support important exploration that remains to be done.

PROMISE FOR THE FUTURE THROUGH RESEARCH

Help improve the quality of people's lives by supporting research to discover the effects of alcohol on health, behavior, and prevention of alcohol-related problems.
